Aaliyah Haughton made headlines in 1994, when she dropped her first album Age isn't just a number. It was Gold when she was just 15 years old. R. Kelly was a significant influence in this project which put the singer into the limelight. She collaborated in 1996 with Jermaine Dupri as well as Timbaland for her second album One In A Million which included the top-rated hit song If Your Girl Could Only Know. Following the success of this album, Aaliyah received international recognition for her work as an R&B artist. In 2000, she was in Romeo Must Die, a romance/action movie with Jet-Li. She began her acting career with minor TV and film performances, but her fame grew during the middle 2000s. Other than The Big Bang Theory her other notable works are Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). The actress has been featured in commercials of major brands like international car manufacturer Volvo. The mother of her daughter who lives in Los Angeles and is pursuing her acting.
